In the Thai language, the word Wat means temple. As such, my post topic is redundant. However, since many of you might not have known this, I hope you will forgive this journalism faux pas. Moving on...
En route from Phuket to Khao Lak, we stopped at Wat Chalong, which is the largest of Phuket's 29 monasteries. This temple is associated with the three monks of Luang Pro Chaem, who were herbal doctors and bone setters. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Remove your shoes prior to entering the temple.
