Valentine's Day Trip on a Budget
Sure, Valentine's Day in Paris or Venice would be perfect but, hey, even without the Eiffel tower or the gondola ride, you still can have a romantic Valentine's day even if you choose to spend it near your home. After all, it's not just about your chosen destination, it's all about the love that you and your partner share.

You can spare yourself the jetlag and the cost and still have a wonderful Valentine's getaway.

Check out that romantic hotel nearby. Check in with your partner to have a wonderful evening away from everyone else.

Almost all hotels have a Valentine's Day offer for couples. Compare what the hotels in your town (or in neighboring towns) are offering to get the best value for your money.

Want to celebrate for more than a night and get a little mileage in your car? Since Valentine's day falls on a Wednesday, you can celebrate the weekend before or the weekend after. It could be more cost-effective.

Whatever you decide, remember that wherever you go and whatever way you may decide to celebrate, the mood will depend on the two of you.
