Travel with Children

Many governments have procedures at entry and exit points which require parents to show evidence
of their relationship to ALL minors travelling with them, to ensure the safety of children travelling internationally. Yes, there are quite a few sicko's out there who may be transporting children for ermm, other purposes.
So, whether you are the parent or the guardian of a minor traveling with you, you may want to have the following document (aside from the passports) with you:
When both parents are present,
- Original or certified copy of Birth (or Adoption) Certificate of the child
When only one parent or legal guardian is with the minor,
- Original or certified copy of Birth (or Adoption) Certificate of the child
- Signed and notarized Original permission letter from the other parent/guardian named on the birth certificate, adoption papers or court documents authorizing the other parent (parent one) to travel with the child
When no parent is accompanying the minor,
- Original or certified copy of Birth (or Adoption) Certificate of the child
- All parents/guardians named on the birth certificate or adoption papers must give signed and notarized authorization for the child to travel without them
A precautionary measure that, IMHO, could protect every child. Be prepared!
