I love Rome. It is one of my favorite urban destinations in Europe. And I am 100% sure that given the chance, you'd be raving about this city, as well.

    I am off to Rome for the first time tomorrow evening. In anticipation I have been doing a bit of reading on what not to miss, where to go and the varied and lengthy schedule of events, which I am certainly not going to have sufficient time to enjoy! And so, before I have even left our soggy little island, I realise that 3 days and nights is not going to be nearly long enough – more a taster! Somewhere to return to, time and again, I imagine.
