Travel to Chicago to see King Tut

Should you be fascinated with the life and death of king Tutankhamun, you do not have to travel all the way to Egypt to get a glimpse of his life and all those jewels. You can leave that passport behind and just head to Chicago for the "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit which opened last Friday.
As reported by msn, King Tut wows the Windy City. Tut-mania will ensue until the 1st of January 2007. "The show features more than 130 treasures from the resting place of the boy king and other royal tombs, all between 3,000 and 3,500 years old.".
In cooperation with several hotels, The Field Museum (venue) are also offering hotel packages for out-of-towners. If you stay overnight, you can book a special package that includes VIP tickets to see Tut and hotel packages which also entitles you to a complimentary breakfast, fitness center privileges and vale parking. Not to worry, you are given several hotel choices to fit your budget and taste.
Spend a couple more days and discover what this culturally diverse city has to offer.

My family and I were at the Field Museum just this past weekend. The exhibit is certainly worth seeing. Just FYI, get tickets ahead of time. We got there around 10 a.m., and got a 3:30 p.m. entrance to the King Tut exhibit. We didn’t mind the wait, though, as there are other good collections to see in the museum.
