To travel abroad would widen our horizons. However, so would traveling around our own country.

The US has so much to offer. There are tons of big cities each with their own special charm. Landscapes change the farther you go and it could be as interesting and as diverse as what other countries has to offer. And then, there's the issue of not having to learn a new language to travel around.

Not that I am discouraging Americans to use their passports and discover the world. It's just my way of encouraging all of you to discover what your homeland has to offer.

And for those who do travel around, Hawaii has been topping the list. Apparently, according to 2 separate surveys conducted by travel magazines Travel Agent and Travel Weekly, "Hawaii retains top-of-mind awareness as a travel destination."

Convinced? Heading off to Hawaii soon? Then, do check out the Private Paia Vacation Estate which is just a couple of miles off the famous Hookipa State Beach for surfing and windsurfing.

Other destinations which made it to the top of the list are:

Las Vegas, Orlando, Maui, Honolulu, New York, Anchorage, Phoenix, Kauai, Fort Myers in Florida and San Francisco.

Something worth considering on your next planned vacation.
