It wouldn't be so bad, you know. That missed opportunity to spend a long weekend elsewhere may just be a blessing in disguise. Maybe, just maybe, you just were meant to do something bigger on the next (coming) holiday.
Yes, it's best to think positive. Let's think of the pluses, instead.
Here are 10 Reasons To Stay Home for Labor Day:
- You would be spared of navigating through horrendous traffic
- You do not have to line up for hours at the airport, along with millions of other travelers
- The National Weather Roundup does not look so good
- Think of what you can do with the money you did not spend
- For once, you can actually check out how everyone at home celebrates and why people travel to your part of the country to celebrate Labor Day
- College Football kicks off. With a beer for company, you can watch the game from a nearby stadium
where a game may be held or you can watch from the comforts of your own home. - Spend two hours a day just doing nothing.
- Have you seen the prices?!
- You can finally spend more time in the garden you've worked so hard on last Spring.
- You can probably spend more for your next vacation since you didn't spend much this time.
