In the US alone, there are too many oddly named towns that can be exciting travel destinations.

According to SmarterTravel, the following is the top 10 oddly named travel destinations (topping the list is Intercourse, Pennsylvania):

1.Intercourse, Pennsylvania
Intercourse is a popular tourist destination located in Amish country. The movie Witness (starring Harrison Ford) was filmed there and in the surrounding area. The town was founded in 1754 and initially named Cross Keys. In 1814 its name was changed to Intercourse.

3. Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

4. Hell, Michigan

5. Cool, California

6. Uncertain, Texas

7. Carefree, Arizona

    I think this name is funny: Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

    It is a real name and somewhere in Massachusets.
