Tipping is not a particular difficult concept to master. Most of us have laid a few extra dollars on the table before leaving a restaurant. And if we're not sure how much to leave, we probably have an app on our iPhone to help us figure it out...
While the percentage tip at a restaurant is just a simple math problem, do you know how much to tip the porter who helped you get your luggage to your hotel room? Did I mention that the hotel is in Buenos Aires?
Condé Nast Traveler has a guide to tipping available (and it says the answer to that question is 10 pesos). It's a very helpful guide that takes you through tipping in a variety situations and covers most countries in the world. It's worth looking at if you plan to travel outside your home country.
