The Timbers, a residence hotel, will be opening for business. The new service hotel will be offering "expansive executive studios, and one & two bedroom
suites averaging nearly 700 square feet".With business travelers as their main target market, the Timbers has made sure that traveling away from the office on business will not limit productivity. Like a mobile office, each suite has an executive desk and a chair, with wireless internet accessible across the site. A 24-hour business center and a conference center to accommodate big and small meetings will also be available to guests.
As reported by Paula Moore of the Denver Business Journal, "the Timbers' initial phase opening this summer will include 88 suites, ranging from 700 to 1,000 square feet depending on whether they have one bedroom or two. There will be 39 studio apartments as well.
Phase one also includes a fitness center and the hotel's detached restaurant, the former Cockpit Grille, which is getting a new roof, lobby, interior and outdoor seating. It will accommodate 200 people, up from 125.
Phase two, scheduled to open in the early summer of 2006, will add another 25 to 30 suites as well as a spa with hot tub and sauna."The Timbers is located at 4411 Peoria St. Denver, Colorado 80239-4817, with telephone number +800 844 9404.
