The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World

"I just finished reading The Unofficial Guide to Walt disney world and was appalled at some of the information that it contains. Some of it is wrong, some of it is definitely not necessary, but one point in particular really infuriates me. The authors tell you how to put lifts in your young children's shoes so that they can reach the minimum height requirements of some of Disney's theme park attractions. They also suggest you put your child's hair in a high hairstyle to give your child extra height."That was an observation by Kimberly Button posted on BellaOnline's site forum.

If that is true, someone should really do something about this. It's irresponsible and it could put some kids in danger if, horror of horrors, someone is stupid enough to do as the book advised.

Ride Height Restrictions are imposed for several reasons. The most important of all being SAFETY.

If you or anyone you know are planning to spend a day at the theme park with the kids, you know what you should NOT do.
