It has been 3 years since I last stayed at the Sorrento. And according to my brother, who just stayed there last weekend, he liked it then as much as he likes it now.

Architecturally inspired by the town of Sorrento in Italy, thus the name, the Sorrento Hotel in Seattle is a "7-story Hotel with emphasis on personal service & attention to detail". It even boasts of the "Preferred Hotels of the World" seal right at the entrance.

The Sorrento is a lovely old property, located near the convention center. A perfect hotel for those who will be attending a convention or a conference.

The rooms are classically elegant and the staff are accommodating. I'd also recommend dining in the hunt Club and Fireside Room

To all the working women, listen up. Head on out to Seattle and give yourself a treat.

If you SHOP and SPA in Seattle, check-in at the SORRENTO. Nordstrom Shop & Spa package "includes luxurious overnight accommodations in one of our renovated deluxe guest rooms or suites, $100 gift certificate to Nordstrom, a $120 gift certificate to the Nordstrom Spa, dinner for two in the award-winning Hunt Club restaurant ($100 credit), full American breakfast either in your room or in the Hunt Club, overnight valet parking and taxes. ($220 total Nordstrom credit may be combined to use all in spa or all in store.) Complimentary towncar service available in the surrounding downtown area."

Shop, Spa in Seattle and stay at the Sorrento.
