The Kempinski Munich Airport Hotel

Last week, I had a 2-day meeting in Munich. The meeting facilitator decided to book all of us at the Kempinski Munich Airport Hotel since some of the participants would be coming in and out from all over the world at different times. It was the practical choice.
Despite my reservations about staying too close to the airport, I was pleasantly surprised.
Rooms at the Concierge Floor are well appointed and spacious. There is even a separate sleeping and living room. Perfect for those who may want to welcome guests. Like most business hotels, there is WiFi access.
If you stay at the Concierge Floor, you also get access to the Concierge Lounge which is very much like the executive lounges at the, say, Mandarin Oriental. In the lounge, you get served breakfast, have drinks and snacks all day, have access to the business center, can have free W-Lan access (I liked this!) and can even check in and out of the hotel
there. In-house facilities include several restaurants and a bar, several fitness and massage zones and, of course, conference rooms with the latest in conference technology. Oh yea, did I mention that there's an in-house International Airport, as well? hehe
The Kempinski Munich Airport Hotel is truly a world class hotel and I am sure, you'd be pleasantly surprised when you do book there as it is truly different from all the other 'business hotels at the airport' set up I have seen.
