Hold'Em is, for those of you who are not aware, way more than just those spam messages that you need to delete from your e-mail inbox and your blog's comment databases. Thanks to the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel, it is now regarded as "the" premiere poker game.If you are one of those new Texas Hold'Em fan, you will be happy to know that you can now enroll yourself in a Poker Boot camp to master the game. Heck, some have even enrolled themselves with the dream of quitting their day job to become a professional poker ace.
Your options are, as featured by USAToday are:
WPT Boot Camp offers 2- and 3-day camps, with a high instructor-to-student ratio, led by all-star instructors.
Beginners to advanced players can enroll in the 2 day camp. For $1,695, you get meals, single table Tune-Up Tournament, WPT Boot Camp Courseware and a chance to participate in the Private WPT Boot Camp No-Limit Tournament.
The 3-day Champions Event, on the other hand, is geared for the more advanced players.
Other boot camps are: Camp Hellmuth and Card Player Cruises.
If your object is to be able to get the chance to win the pot later (which is what the main objective should be), you may want to consider enrolling yourself in a boot camp. Do let me know, though, how you can explain to the miss'us about this particular expense ;-)
