Survey says it’s expensive

Mercer Human Resource Consulting has released the results of the most recent Cost of Living Survey.

Cost of Living expenditures include costs which travellers incur like hotels, taxis and food, among others. So, Mercer's study should guide you in choosing your next destination. If you want to tighten that belt when you travel, AVOID those that are on top of the list!

Note, though, of how the following cities have fallen from the list:

Prague has fallen 22 places to rank 50th.

Leipzig is Europe's cheapest city.

Asuncion in Paraguay remains the least expensive city globally. Other cheap cities include Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Caracas.

Auckland and Wellington have dropped in the rankings this year due to the significant devaluation of the New Zealand dollar against the US dollar.

Might be good to consider them on your next vacation, considering your budget.
