Space Adventure
'Been there, done that' with a yawn would best describe your attitude when the conversation turns to travel. You have been all over the world and have enjoyed all sorts of niche travel known to men.
Well, this should make you happy…
Spiegel Online has reported that more and more Germans have been heading off to Russia to experience the life of a cosmonaut. Aboard the MiG-25, a Russian military jet, one will zoom 30,000 meter above the earth, the edge of outer space.
Should you want the real thing and travel to space, check out Space Adventures. At present, Space Adventures is the only company in the world which operates commercial orbital spaceflight.
"Reasons you might enroll in Space Adventures' spaceflight programs:
- Live the experience of a lifetime and create memories that you will always cherish
- Invest in the future of spaceflight
- Earn the respect and admiration of your colleagues and home nation
- Conduct experiments aboard the most advanced and unique laboratory ever constructed
- Be one of the first 500 people ever to go into space
- Achieve worldwide celebrity-status

They forgot one thing requirement or reason for doing this though… you must have LOTS of money!
Now that is what you can call out of this world!

“Been there, done that” is exactly what this chap I met a year ago could have said about space. His name was Mark Shuttleworth, a South African like me, and he was the next citizen after Tito to go up with the Russians. I met him through my boss who went to school with him in Cape Town.
Thankfully he is such a nice, humble guy that he would never say “Been there, done that.”
