You don't need deep pockets to enjoy this town of pastel buildings, narrow alleys and quaint, secluded gardens. Indeed, you can experience much of Charleston, which has a reputation for being the nation's most polite city, for a pittance.The article goes through some tips on getting around in Charleston. If you're not a native to the city the system of oneway streets can be confusing. USA Today also takes a look at the long list of things to do in Charleston for free.
