Whether you are currently "on a break" or just have no one special in your life right now, it does not mean that you would have to skip all those tempting holiday offers this season.

Look at it this way, you can be guiltlessly selfish. As a single/solo traveler, you do not need to compromise. You can do whatever you want without worrying if someone else might not like the choices you have made.

Traveling solo may mean a relaxing time alone OR, it could also mean hooking up with like-minded travelers.

Going solo is perfect for those who'd rather indulge in a luxurious time being pampered... say, going on a Spa Holiday.

If going abroad is an option and you wouldn't mind a little holiday romance, you might want to prepare yourself with some info on cultural differences. For the males in the house, Hair's the Deal; females, on the other hand, should go ahead and read about Getting Lucky Abroad.

If you are a bit on the shy side, read ThirdAge's tips on How to double your pleasure while traveling alone. General information for Single Travelers can also be found here.

Remember, this vacation is all about you, you and you!
