Singing Vacation in Oxford

Singing Vacation in Oxford

Tonight, people all over the world will be glued to their TV sets as they watch Katherine McPhee and Taylor Hicks sing their way against each other to be the next American Idol. Fancy yourself to be next season's American Idol? Then, you might want to do something productive for your summer vacation.

Instead of getting all crinkled and burned on the beach, you may want to go on a Singing Vacation in Oxford, England.

The Oxford Church Music Singing Vacations in Oxford, England is held for 2 weeks. The course is being offered to adults with varying vocal abilities. They offer "three hours of conducted singing every weekday morning in Balliol College Chapel. Music performed will cover the field from Gregorian chants to gospel and jazz. The tour finishes with a concert in the historic church St. Michael-at-the-North-Gate."

Of course, during your free time (afternoons and evenings), you will be free to explore around.

Okay, so you may want to sing more than just church songs for American Idol but, hey, any kind of voice training should help. In addition, you get to see England, too!
