Save the Mark Twain House

As a tour guide for the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance , matters of historic preservation are always apt to get my sympathy and attention. So, when Wendy Clinch, wife of John Clinch, who is the author of Finn, posted a message on The Ski Diva about a fundraiser to save the Twain House, I knew that I had to give it some publicity.

Sadly, the 1874 home may be scheduled for demise. Why? Typical reasons. Lack of funding. Fortunately, a group of renowned authors have organized a fundraiser to save the Twain House, and thus preserve an important part of literary history. Behold, the details!
