Taking an RV (Recreational Vehicle) vacation has its advantages. It's a great way to discover the country side while saving yourself the cost of airfare and hotel stays. Additional savings can also be made if you prepare most of your meals.

Another advantage? It allows you to be flexible. Basically, you can control where you want to go, when you want to go.

Why Wal-Mart, you ask? According to Jim, "As we pulled in, I wondered why all the RVs were in the Wal-Mart parking lot. We wandered the store, looking for bargains and resupplying our trip, and asked an employee. Sure enough, most Wal-Marts let RVs spend the night. Free, no less."
