A honeymoon, according to Wikipedia, is the traditional trip taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage, and presumably, consummate it.

Some people have been known to take romantic getaways and jokingly call it as their 2nd- or 3rd-honeymoon. I know I have done that, as well. It's a great way to spice up your romantic life.
