Road Trip to celebrate Mother's Day

Budget Travel Online has a four destination suggestions for the perfect Mother-Daughter Road Trip for Mother's Day:
For the mother and daughter pair who is interested in cities with rich tradition and southern culture, why not head to Charleston, SC. You could stay at ashley
Inn, South Carolina's best gourmet bed and breakfast Inn. For the hippy pair who is into the outdoors, geology, astrology and spiritualism, Sedona would be your best bet. Sedona has an impressive natural endowment that you'd find lots of activities to keep you entertained. You can choose to hike and/or you could just relax at any of the luxurious resorts. Stay at the Skyranch Lodge for a panoramic view of the town and to sample the simple luxury Arizona has to offer.
Or, chill with your daughter in San Diego, one of the country's most desirable places to live. For elegant lodgings, why not stay at the The Bed & Breakfast Inn at La Jolla.
My favourite option would be that trip to New York. For shopping, culture or city buff, this is the perfect destination. Most teenaged daughters would probably opt for this option. Stay at the Abingdon House, "one of New York's most charming guest houses".
