Road Trip and the cost of gas
Filed in archive vacation possibilities by Melissa Petri on May 03, 2006

There's a great abundance of destination or route possiblities inside America alone. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of you still decide to go through with your initial plans for your Kerouac-like release, despite the price of gas.
If so, here are a few important links to sites which could help you a lot in keeping the cost of gas to the minimum:
Calculate Cost of Fuel could help you get the approximate amount you need to spend for gas.
How to conserve gas by Kim Knox Beckius gives pointers on what to do before and during your trip, to save gas.
Gas Buddy can help you find cheap gas prices in your city. It probably could help guide you in choosing where you might want to take that road
trip. Avoid the cities with exhorbitant gas prices. Do your research before you get that motor running!
