Prepare yourself for your World Cup visit

Prepare yourself for your World Cup visit

With the date of the World Cup just right around the corner, many football fans (like you) from all over the world are soon flying off to the land of beer and sausages.

It could be that most of you will just be here for the games. However, I think I can safely assume that a lot of you who are coming from outside of Europe have plans of discovering what the country has to offer.

If you need an insight on what you can expect from the locals, check out Spiegel International Online's Germany Survival Bible. In particular, you can start reading these articles:

The Albino Hotdog could help prepare those who will be watching the games in Bayern.

Vee Have Vays of Making You Laugh
will help you understand the German psyche.

Stop Talking when the Room Goes Quiet gives you an idea how to BS your way around the German language, using English.

If you keep those in mind, you will definitely have a more memorable trip to Germany. You'll remember more than just the World Cup game you watched.
