Platial is a website that lets you find, share, search for a location using Google Maps. It's more of a social application (due to the possibility to collaborate with other map users/plotters) where users can also share stories to accompany the map. Current users have been sharing anecdotes about the place where they had their firt Kiss, recommendation of where the hippest club in the neighborhood can be found, etc.
It's interesting how maps are coming alive nowadays.
Should you be travelling soon, Platial is worth a visit. You could find a great tip during your virtual search.
