Phuket Beach, Thailand

So, after a two hour flight from Denver to LA, a four hour layover followed by a 17 hour flight to Bangkok, after which we rushed to make our connection for our two hour flight to Phuket, we arrived at Phuket beach. While airfare to Thailand can be expensive, once you get there, it is relatively inexpensive. But oh, the beauty! Everything in Thailand is about color, taste, smell and sound. It all begins on the beautiful Thai Airlines, with their lovely purple, yellow and pink decor. As you enter the plane, you are greeted by flight attendants dressed in saris. Soft music plays on the speakers, and a subtle jasmine smell fills the air. Although the trip was long, it was so relaxing, that we slept through most of it.
I have some great photos, but they have not yet been uploaded on my PC. However, be sure to read my blog on a daily basis. You will want to see the picture of me getting kissed by an elephant! Here's the best news. Most of this trip was free of charge, due to my husband's frequent flyer miles and membership in the Starwood Preferred Guest Program.
We are staying at Le Meridian Phuket Beach Resort.
