Paris: The Medici Fountain
Filed in archive Budget Europe on October 8, 2008

So like I said, you need not spend A ton of money in order to enjoy Paris. Sometimes, the best things happen by serendipity. Today, I my husband and I strolled through the Luxembourg Gardens , we came across this amazing site. The photo above features the Medici Fountain. It was originally built in the 1630's at the request of Marie de Medicis, to remind her of her childhood walks in the Boboli Gardens in Florence. No admission charge. Just take in the beauty!
