Budget Europe
by Greg Cruey on October 29, 2008
Mark Kahler has a good piece online at the moment about winter travel deals and he makes an excellent point - few people consider Europe in the dead of Winter. But why not?
Europe has a host of destinations (London and Paris perhaps chief among them) where the costs go down dramatically in the winter. And yet, the museums and art galleries of Europe's capital cities are all still open - and mostly well heated. And the guard still changes at Buckingham Palace when there's snow on the ground; it might even be more picturesque then.
And after all, the weather's never actually nice in London anyway...

Does the cost of traveling to Paris or London from the United States go down during the dead of winter. Maybe if it was affordable to travel during that time, people would consider going. Museums and architecture never goes out of style.
