Online Sportsbetting: When You Can’t Actually Be There

Can you imagine flying to South Africa to place a bet on the World Cup? If you don't win the bet, you're out big bucks! On the other hand, if you don't go you don't get to bet…
That was mostly true until the Internet brought us online sportsbetting. Suddenly I can bet on the Kentucky Derby without actually making the trip. In fact, I can bet on a lot of things without ever leaving my living room.
I'm developing a list of things to bet on at the moment. I might eventually vote on the World Cup, but March Madness is higher on my list right now. I'd like to see Kentucky and Tennessee meet in the Final Four. Of course, there's also NASCAR to bet on.
The Internet has made it all very convenient and easy. If I had to actually make it to the game and pay to get in, I'd probably never bet on anything.
