I will be off to LA in a few weeks and I intend to extend my stay to visit some friends and relatives. And as I was browsing the net for a great hotel deal, I stumbled upon a great site! Now, now, this may not be new to some of you but hey, it was new to me. And maybe, some of you aren't even aware of this great site yet.

It's called Quikbook. And it's all about HOTELS.


On most sites, you get detailed information plus, pictures. Same for Quikbook. However, I have found Quikbook to be very user-friendly. You can search using several criteria: Destination, Dates, Neighborhood and Price Range. And even if there is no such hotel under the combination criteria you have given, you will not get that annoying "0 Search Results". Instead, you will get alternatives -- either in nearby neighborhoods, next to possible price ranges or for different dates.

You get the feeling that Quikbook truly knows the hotel business inside out. And the best part is, you can really find great hotel deals! Truly a HOTEL MARKETPLACE.
