One Day of FREE Snow Sports

If you have never tried cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking and would be interested in doing so, you might want to check out Winter Trails.

On the 6th of January and 17th of February 2007, various locations in North America will be part of Winter Trails Day.

Children and Adults alike can try to go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking for FREE.

"This one-day event is geared toward families, hikers and fitness walkers, recreational enthusiasts, school groups and youth organizations who are interested in learning more about the sport of snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Programs and activities vary in size and scope, as each venue chooses a program that will introduce these sports to their communities."
