While I've been advising you to avoid pricey admission fees, Keith Harding's World of Mechanical Music in Northleach is worth every penny. This one-hour tour takes you back in time to the days before regular radio broadcasting began. The technology involved in these elaborate music boxes, gramophones and player pianos is nothing short of astonishing!
