No Smoking Hotels

No Smoking Hotels

People have the right to choose whether they want to smoke or not. However, in fairness to those who do not smoke, non-smoking zones are needed. After all, the secondary health effects of second hand smoke is of great concern to a lot of people.

And because of this, more and more hotels have completely snuffed out smoking rooms. Hotels like Westin and a few from the Sheraton Four Points chain.

Hyatt still offers smoking rooms but non-smoking guests are now guaranteed non-smoking rooms, if they ask. Should non-smoking rooms be unavailable upon check-in, guests will be placated with a $100 Hyatt gift card or 5,000 Hyatt Gold passport points – enough for a free night's stay at some Hyatt hotels.

Need to check whether the hotel you booked is smoke free? FreshStay keeps a list of more than 200 hotels with non-smoking policies.
