Love Hotels in Japan

Previously, I wrote about possible budget accommodations while travelling in Japan. Youth Hostels, Minshukus (Japanese Bed & Breakfast), Gaijin (Guest) Houses and, the best of all, squatting at your local friend's flat are the options given.

Another option for those budget travellers headed for Japan would be to stay in a love Hotel. Love Hotels could be rented for a few hours or overnight. Its main function is to serve couples who might want a bit of errr... pleasure. If you are willing to overlook the sleaze that seems to be going in and around the hotel, then a budget accommodation for the night, you will be able to get.

Personally, I could overlook the sleaze. It can even be part of your Japan experience... to have been able to stay in a Love Hotel. C'mon, don't be such a prude and give it a go!
