Like everything else in the world, frugal travel is relative. What may be frugal to you may not be frugal to others.

2. Anywhere can be frugal

Practically every destination in the world can be a frugal destination. It's just a matter of finding the best deals in town and knowing where to save.

3. Friends are worth more than dollars

Friends or a network of friends of friends can be a huge help in saving money on your travel. Besides, you get a free tour guide in your friends.
