iPOD and Yahoo

I hate Maps. Those that I need, especially when driving, are just way to big and [insert swear word here] inconvenient to use. Even when on foot, I hate how my practiced I-know-where-I-am-going look becomes useless because I have a big map on my hand.

If you feel the same way then, I have something really great for you. That is, if you own an iPOD.

Zap Technologies has an online service aptly called iPOD-iWay. It's a marriage between two technologies. Yahoo Maps and iPODs can now be used together to give you directions via iPOD-iWay.

All you have to do is go online, enter the necessary details (destination, within the US and Canada), download the result as a .zip file, extract the file to your iTunes folder and then just sync your connected iPOD. Voil�, your iPOD is now a great traveling tool!
