So you weren't really lucky with getting a plane ticket so you could go home for the holidays. It's not the end of the world. Besides, you can still drive. Making long drives on the interstate is a holiday ritual for a lot of people anyway.

For a stress-free drive, make sure that you plan your trip. More so, if you will be covering hundreds of miles.

Apart from the obvious (check your car, bring food, pack emergency equipment), you can also make your driving time a lot easier if you check out InterstateWiz or I Wiz.
