Insult to Injury: US Air to Charge $2 For Water and Soda

As if the $15 baggage fee wasn't enough, US Airways has decided to up the ante and charge $2 for water and soda. So now, you can't take water through security, and if you need to stay hydrated throughout a long flight, you either have to pay through the nose, or else end up with a stuffed up nose.

It gets better. the airline recently laid off 1,700 employees, began charging $25 for domestic phone reservations and $35 for international and eliminated the mileage bonus for Preferred Status member. I guess they're not trying to win a popularity contest.
