Recently, we hied it off to Switzerland to experience living on a White Pod. Truly an adventure for those who seeks a different kind of hotel and outdoor experience. Today, we'll be featuring a different kind of hotel for those who are open to have an experience like no other.

Enjoy the low temperature over at ICE HOTEL in Sweden. A hotel that is built from ice and snow every single winter; and joins the Torne River as soon as Spring approaches.

Have a night to remember as "the outdoor temperature drops and when you step inside ICEHOTEL, you feel a rush of warm air. Inside, the temperature is never colder than -5 °C to -8 °C, regardless of how cold it may be outside. It will soon be time to climb into bed. Dress in warm thermal underwear, put on a hat and slip into the cozy sleeping bag. Share the whole surrealistic ice-night with someone special."

Rooms are decorated with ice art and sculptures. Thermal sleeping bags are protected by reindeer skins which rests on a special bed of snow and ice. Now, that alone, should convince your adventurous soul!

For the more conservative ones, "normal" Heated rooms are available for you, as well.

And during your waking moments, wander around in Narnia-like landscape of Saami culture in Lapland, on a snowmobile or a dogsled.
