Hurricane Season Travel Deals
It's hurricane season once again. It's when we can expect a great chance of storms (rainy weather, at best) in August, September and October. Nothing like hurricane and storms to signal the start of the low travel season.

Apparently, according to Smarter Travel, storms and hurricanes are likely to hit the following areas:

  • southern tip of Florida

  • western edge of Latin America

  • northern tip of Southern America, which encompasses almost the whole of Caribbean

Should you be planning a vacation during this season, it may be best to avoid the above destinations.

Note, though, that the islands of aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are outside the hurricane belt. So, if you want to take advantage of the low season rates, it may be wise to stick to those destinations.

However, should you have evil knevil's blood running in your bloodstreams, you could take advantage of the best travel bargains. Independent Travel has listed down the great deals available with links to additional information, should your luck run out.

Keep yourself informed, be safe, save money and have fun!
