I've lived and traveled in most of Southeast Asia: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc…

Wake up. There's NO SUCH THING as just a little pot in Singapore. Minuscule amounts of almost any drug will get you hung in Singapore. You don't even really have to be in Singapore. If you Seattle to Mumbai with a layover in Singapore with three blounts in your sock, the dogs may points you out while you sit in the International section of the airport. Then, suddenly, you're a Singapore resident for rest of your (short) life.

When I lived in Singapore I took the train to Bangkok a number of times. You walked through a narrow passage way where the dogs sniffed your luggage. If a dog became interested in you, it was going to be a long day…
