Here are a few examples of technology which you might consider using while globetrotting:
In addition to sending postcards, most have been depending on sending emails or blogging to keep loved ones informed of their whereabouts. You can go to an internet caf or use your laptops near WiFi Hotspots which can be found all over the world.
iPOD has brought the possibilities of travelling without a map or a guidebook. There are podcast travel guides, self-guided travel guides and one can rely on Yahoo/iPOD Maps to guide one around.
And now, the Weather Channel has also gone mobile. You can now have the current conditions, detailed foreasts and severe weather info for over 98,000 locations worldwide. Anytime, Everywhere. Just download the application once and you can use this nifty technology immediately. It's easy and fast to use.
Travelling sure is a lot easier when you can retrieve information at the tip of your hand.
