Google Earth can give you the world's geographic information right at your fingertips. Just choose a specific location and voil�, you get a "planet's worth of imagery and other geographic information right on your desktop. View exotic locales like Maui and Paris as well as points of interest such as local restaurants, hospitals, schools, and more."
You can use it to plan your trip, get directions for driving, finding specific addresses or just to satisfy your curiosity to, maybe, push you to finally make that travel plan.
Google Earth can be downloaded here. It's Free, for personal use.

Great program. I tried it and remained astonished by it's features. It is meant to be a virtual bus that gives you an idea about a specific location. I wonder when is Google going to link it to an international database with hotels, sites and maybe give us some previews about a place.
