Goodbye Paper Airline Tickets

Starting June 1, paper airline tickets will be history for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) members.

As of June 1 International Air Transport Association (IATA) members, who make up 94 per cent of all airlines, will use only electronic tickets (e-tickets).

What do this all mean? Of course, it will be totally e-ticketing. Honestly, I haven't hold paper airline tickets since year 2000. But of course, I still had to print the confirmation ticket of my booking.

As reported by the Times Online UK, 50,000 trees will be saved a year by not printing tickets.
