Gifts for the Travelers

The effect of this self-inflicted stress is not lost on me. More so when it comes to shopping for Christmas gifts. But I still do it every single time. And I will never seem to learn my lesson. Thinking of what to buy and where to buy for a bunch of people are all done in one day. Normally, it's on the last shopping day before Christmas.
Anyway... a few clickety clicks and I seem to have found perfect gift suggestions, minus the stress of holiday shopping chaos, for dear family and friends who are avid travelers *coughs-like-me-coughs*
Airline gift cards for the avid-travelers. TravelPost has listed some great leads for various airlines' Gift card
and gift certificate programs. Included in the list are links to some programs which offers hotel travel gift certificates and diving courses. And for those who have the time to go look out for gifts for an avid traveler, here are a few more suggestions:
eHow has an interesting guide on How to Create a Gift Basket for a Traveler. It could be a bit more labor intensive than what you normally do but, hey, it will be worth the trouble if you give it to someone who you really love.
However, if you are pressed for time, you can also order from TravelEssentials. They have travel gifts sorted depending on your budget.
For your friend who has been bitten by the travel bug, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die would, IMHO, be greatly appreciated.
However, if you are an avid traveler yourself, you might want to check those gifts out properly. You may have to order 2 of each kind to keep one for yourself.
