Foodie Travel

Foodies, according to the urban dicitionary, spend a keen amount of attention and energy on knowing the ingredients of food, the proper preparation of food, and finds great enjoyment in top-notch ingredients and exemplary preparation.

Foodies are, more often than not, picky when they eat. They don't just eat anywhere. And when these special breed of people travel, they could become even pickier or are more adventurous with their palate.

Sherman's Travel has compiled the top 10 cities for foodies. So, if you are a foodie, you could consider the following cities as your next travel destination: Barcelona, Brussels, Hanoi, Las Vegas, Lyon, New York, San Francisco, Rome, Tokyo and Vancouver.

I am not a foodie but half of the cities mentioned wouldn't be in my list if I was going somewhere to satisfy my palate (and appetite). I'd probably choose to go to Greece, Italy and Spain, rather than choose to go to cities where there are Michelin starred restaurants. But, then again, that is just me.

What about you? Where would you go?
