Not all the best things in life are free. And travelling first-class (one of the best things that ever happened to travelers, albeit only to a limited number of people) definitely doesn't come free. In fact, it costs quite a lot.
But pampered, you will be.
Can't decide which airline to take? Forbes did their research and tallied what most airlines have (Flat Seats, New Pod-Style Seats, Massage Function, AVOD Laptop Power, On-Demand Dining, Duvets & Soft Pillows, Noise Reduction Headset) for their First Class passengers. Worth a look, for sure.
Want a personal (and very detailed, mind you) comparison? Check out Moyey's Wine and Travel Blog for a first hand scoop on the Ultimate Flying Machine. A detailed juxtaposition between the First Class services of lufthansa and Singapore. Oh yea, his other entries make a great read, too.
First Class, definitely, is the way to go.
