FIDO is the bag of the future

FIDO is the bag of the future

Handling (or carrying) luggages is one of the most dreaded part of travelling. At least, in my case. I hate it when I have to lug it around. Most especially when the wheels of my trusted Samsonite would refuse to go where I want it to go.

Architect/designer Peter Yeardon has just solved that with his concept for the Fido Luggage. Imagine how it would be if your luggage can follow you around like your dog.

Like a man's bestfriend, a Fido Luggage has a tail, can move on its own, will follow the owner and can change direction on command. All these controlled via the wristband worn by the owner.

Need more info? Check out the technical specifications over at Inhabitat. It all sounds interesting AND promising.

Although, I do wonder how Fido Luggages would fare in busy airports full of Fido-toting passengers. Would Peter Yeardon develop an option card to make Fido bark and skirt around other Fidos? Hmmmm…
