But first, how do Eurail SelectPasses work?

"With a Eurail Selectpass you can design your own taylor-made pass selecting 3, 4 or 5 European bordering countries for a duration of either 5, 6, 8 or 10 travel days within a 2-month period. If selecting 5 countries there is also the opportunity of choosing 15 travel days.

The Eurail Selectpass offers unlimited travel by rail (and on some shipping lines) within a selection of the following 22 European countries; Austria (including Liechtenstein), Benelux*, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France (including Monaco), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland."
